In 1988 The founder Michael Edison was participating in a race called “Hotter N Hell” which was a 100 mile bike race in Texas.

Although the other riders laughed at the site of this, one of those riders Jeff Wemmer who started using the product and selling it to others was hired by the company in 1993 and literally sold the packs from East coast to West coast on his motorcycle. They are laughing all the way to the bank now!
